My [30M] sister [17F] won’t communicate with me at all since I saw her naked. I don’t know what to do.

My youngest sister, we will call her S, usually lives with second youngest sister [28F], we will call her T. S and T have been fighting a lot recently since T’s boyfriend has been staying over a lot more, so S had come to stay with me for awhile. We weren’t really close before now (she’s always been very close with T), but since she started staying we have really bonded and she’s a great kid, and the fighting with T has been really hurting her and upsetting her a lot, and she’s cried a few times because of it.

Anyway, four nights ago I got up in the middle of the night (perhaps around 1am?) and S was coming up the hallway from the bathroom to go to her bedroom. She was completely nude. I, in my half asleep state, sort of paused, stopped and blinked a few times before really processing the situation. She looked horrified and froze for a few seconds before covering herself with her hands and running away. I half-yelled out “sorry” and laughed and got no response.

I ended up just going back to bed, thinking it would blow over, but four days on she won’t look at me or talk to me. If I try to talk to her she just acts like I’ve not said anything and walks away. If I come into the same room she looks nervous and leaves. I don’t know what to do and I’m concerned about her not feeling comfortable or safe being here anymore. Yes, I saw her naked, but she’s my sister and it’s not like I felt anything other than amusement at the situation, and a feeling of affection that she’s becoming an adult woman.

She’s already going through a lot with the fighting with T and I want to be able to be a positive support for her. I found some alcohol bottles in the recycling bin (hidden under other cardboard) which also has me worried that she’s turning to alcohol as a coping mechanism and where she’s getting it from.

Has anyone else been in this situation? Is it likely to blow over? Should I keep trying to talk to her when it seems to bother her?

TL;DR saw youngest sister naked, she freaked out and won’t talk to me four days later, also found alcohol. Don’t know what to do.
