is it normal to be upset after learning your gf cheated on old partners?

i’m 18 my gf (17) told me she’s cheated on past partners and told me to please not be scared it to overthink because i’ve been cheated on before by a previous girl. my gf promises that she isn’t that person anymore but i’m scared out of my mind because she said she would cheat on these people for little to no reason at all. this has happened to me before and i’m horrified it will happen again. how do i deal with this and is it normal to be upset/scared?

TL;DR- my gf told me she’s cheated on pervious partners and i’m scared i’m going to get cheated on. is this normal?
