I[27m] left my girlfriend[28f] after she started praising her sex life with her ex in front of mutual friends

My girlfriend and I have been together for a year and a half. We were at a party hosted by her friend's boyfriend. Of the people there we knew about 5 of them? My girlfriend to my knowledge wasn't drinking that much.

Long story short the group was talking about sex, I was talking to another guy but I could hear the main conversation. They started talking about penis size... and my girlfriend goes onto say that she used to have a friends with benefits that was gifted in that department. And that he could make her cum really quick and hard. She said some other stuff too and I don't want to get into the details. But it made me look so bad, and second it hurt A LOT.

It wasn't like she was trying to hurt me my girlfriend is pretty kind but, I was really pissed and I didn't want to stay there. I texted her that I had to go and by the time she saw it I had already pulled my car and left. Now people and my girlfriend are acting like I am being an asshole.

My girlfriend telling me that she didn't say anything bad about me and that no one thought it was a big deal until I left and my actions drew to it. I think it was super disrespectful and really hurtful, and that if anything she should be apologizing. She says it’s not a big deal that she is allowed to have a life before me.

I am insecure and hurt by her comments it hurts knowing that her ex was able to give her pleasure and I can’t because of my body. And a part of me is like okay I know she has probably had other guys but then the fact it’s on the top of her mind.

What should I do to help her understand how she hurt me? To her it’s just not coming through? And was I wrong in My action for leaving?

tl;dr- girlfriend started talking about her sex life with her ex, I left the party and left her there. She had to get a ride home from friends
