Cheating

I found out My boyfriend (30M) has been cheating one me (25F) since we’ve started dating. We recently switched phone companies and got new phones. My boyfriend never factory reset his old iPhone so I went through his phone. At first I was really guilty. My boyfriend has been treating me well despite witnessing my emotionally healing from the past 2 abusive relationships I’ve been in. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months. We’ve joined bank accounts and even moved in together. When I went through his phone the first time I found nothing and instead found messages of him telling his ex girlfriend (F30) that he was going to marry me. I felt deeply guilty and thought that I was still very damaged from my past two relationships to trust anybody and I completely felt that I lost control of myself.

I then went through his phone a second time 3 days after my birthday and saw nothing but messages with multiple women. In those messages he sent nude pictures and completely diminished who I was stating multiple times that I was,”just someone Im seeing, not my girlfriend.” He even told women that he misses them and dreams of them. When I saw all of this he was at work and I called him. While I was on the phone confronting him he was deleting messages of other conversations that he had with other women. The messages date back to since we started dating and stopped in the middle of the 6th month, the middle of the month of us living together.

Im really at a lost because he made himself out to be someone that actually cared for me. I really love him and he’s been very sincere in doing everything to make this right. But I don’t know how to move forward from this. I’ve tried talking it out with him and I even tried just to forget about it. I really don’t know what steps to take to forgiving him and trusting him again. What should I do?

TL;DR my boyfriend (M30) has been cheating on me (F25) since we’ve started dating ( we’ve been dating for 9months). Already having been in 2 abusive relationships prior to him I am really at a lost on how to forgive him and move forward
