Friend's husband told me that he can't stop thinking about me.

I (f, late 30s) met Friend A (f, 40) through my very good friend, Friend B (f). Our three families (we all have kids) went on a week-long vacation together recently and had a great time (before judgment, we're in a part of Europe with more laxed Covid rules due to a low # of infections).

A few days ago, the husband of Friend A messaged me to tell me that he can't stop thinking about me. I shut that down immediately. I told him that he shouldn't have messaged me this, that I'm not interested, that my loyalty lies with his wonderful wife, and to stop messaging me. He did not stop, and one of his next lines included "take it as a compliment". yuck. He then said that he hoped we could still be friends, which we weren't really before. To me, he was just my friend's husband. He also said that the next time we see each other, we should just hug and have a good time.

Now, I don't know if I should tell Friend A about this. She had been thinking about leaving her husband multiple times throughout the past few years for various reasons, but he recently started going to therapy and improving himself, so she's still with him. I thought about asking Friend B for advice, but it seems like a bad idea to get another person involved. Plus, if we don't tell Friend A about this afterwards, it'd be a secret that two friends are keeping from her, and if she finds out, I'm sure she'd be upset and embarrassed. So that's why I'm here, asking strangers for advice. I feel like I would want to know if my husband messaged a friend this, and I know that Friend A deserves much better. At the same time, nothing happened beyond his messages, so I don't know if it's the right thing to tell Friend A.

Just some background info. I'm recently separated from my husband, so I went on this trip as a single mom. Before anyone asks, I know that I did NOT flirt with him on this trip. I don't even think we had a conversation where it was only the two of us talking.
