My bf asked me the other day to write him a love letter so I did. I was excited because I trusted him and believed he would respond in a loving way. Instead, he told me he hates it because I made some grammar and spelling mistakes. I have been crying a lot and don't sleep much at night because I feel that he rejected my feelings.
I feel I have to stay with him because I promised him we can get married someday. I do have feelings for him but I do not feel that I can be open or trust him again. I want to get past this but don't know how.
tl;dr: how can I get over my bf's saying he hated my love letter, and be open with him again?
