My wife (32F) said “fuck off” to me (32M) multiple times in front of my in-laws and parents. Am I being overly sensitive if that upset me?

My wife was annoyed by me because I turned off the TV without asking her and because I sat too close to her.

She got pissed and said “fuck off” to me in front of my father in law and my mother. I was taken aback by it. And it really upset me. Maybe more because we’re both from india and the word “fuck” is not the kind of word I’ll ever utter in front of my traditional parents nonchalantly.

Anyway when I discussed with my wife about how I felt, she said she is not sorry and that I’m being overly sensitive and this does not even qualify as an “abuse”.

Am I being overly sensitive?
