hi reddit. this is really hard to type out but i need some advice that isn't just in my own head. to begin, for context, my dad really loves me. he coddles me and brags about me to all his friends. anything i want i can get if i ask him, my mom and my sister both say that he spoils me.
however, i have always felt like our interactions have been weird? he always makes me feel uncomfortable and its been worse since im stuck with him in quarantine, ill outline some things he's done below.
- climbs into my bed every morning to wake me up
- touches my butt whenever im in front of him or standing near him, making it so i have to make sure to walk behind him (he says this is to make sure im not too skinny, but he squeezes really hard and sometimes goes into my pants to grab it)
- asked me if i had a boyfriend and if id had intercourse with him yet
- gets mad when i don't hold hands with him in public
- tries to touch my chest as well, but i hold my arms in front of my chest so he cant
- makes me kiss him on the cheek
- tells me that daughters are their father's wife from a past life (saying that i was his past wife)
- makes me sit on his lap
- told me to get an older boyfriend, around 27 or 28
normally i don't really talk to him except for on the phone because he is overseas on business trips a lot but because of corona we have been living together and now i just feel really gross at home. most of the time i try to stay in my room and not talk to him but then i feel bad because he is lonely and loves me so much. any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
TDLR: my dad is making me uncomfortable but i don't know if its warranted or not and i don't know what to do.
