My best friend’s [36M] daughter [18F] has been making moves on me and wants to date. I don’t know what to do about it?

I just turned 19 years old and one of my closest friend’s daughter who is 18 barely moved here. She used to live in Puerto Rico with her mom, but my friend wanted her over here now so she could go to college (she’s a freshman I’m a sophmore). I’ve known him since I was 14 and we are very close.

I know it’s a wierd age difference to be friends, but our little social circle ranges from me being the youngest and a few other my age to late 30s being the oldest. We all get along well and I never talked to his daughter much; he only introduced me to her a few tomes when he would facetime her.

When she moved here we started hanging out and we kinda clicked right away. She has asked me to come over to watch movies and spend the night (never spent the night I always leave) and she has invited me out to dinner. Not too ling ago we went to the beach and she was acting flirty as usual. She asked to put sunscreen on me and that’s when she asked me to date her.

I do like her and she’s really pretty, but I’m mot sure if this is appropriate since I’m friends with her dad. Is this inappropriate if I date her? How do I talk about this with him?

TL;DR My close friend’s daughter who lived in Puerto Rico moved over here. She started making moves on me and is asking me to date her, but since I am friends with her dad, I’m not sure if I should or if this is not appropriate?
