I [21F] caught my brother [18M] having sex with my mom’s best friend, should I tell her or avoid all the drama?

She’s been around my family since I was like a 6 year old so she is really good friends with my mother. She’s also wayyyy too old (she’s 43) to be messing with my brother who brother who barely turned 18 last month. I noticed before that there was something weird going on between them, but I thought that maybe I was overthinking things.

I was wrong and I caught them having sex in our home. When I caught them I kicked her out of the house basically and I beat the shit out of my brother for being such an idiot. I haven’t talked to my mom’s friend and my brother begged me not to tell my mom, but I feel like this is something that she deserves to know. What would be the right thing for me to do?

TL;DR My brother hooked up woith my mom’s closest friend and I caught them, should I talk with my mother about it or avoid any drama ?
