I [27F] just found out that my neighbor [50sM] stole my expensive lingerie/dance wear from the laundry room a year ago. What should I do?

Not going to beat around the bush lol; I work as a stripper and part of that involves buying very expensive outfits for the club. Seriously, you'd be shocked how much some of this stuff costs considering how little fabric there is. I've lived in my current apartment for about 5 years and love it here. The only problem I've ever had here was that about a year ago a bunch of my dance outfits went missing from the laundry room. I was really upset because it was over $400 worth of stuff, but no one I talked to in my building had any leads on who might have taken it, so I moved on.

So flash forward to now. I recently got hired as my building's assistant manager. This weekend there was a maintenance emergency (burst pipe) in the apartment of "Steve" who lives directly below me, and I had to open his apartment to let in the plumbers (he wasn't home). While I was in there supervising, I saw one of MY DANCE OUTFITS from a year ago hanging out of Steve's hamper. It's such a specific piece of clothing that I knew immediately it was mine; I opened the hamper slightly and saw at least two of my other outfits that went missing in there as well.

Now, as an adult entertainer I am no stranger to dealing with creepy/entitled men. I've always been cordial with Steve but I am not surprised whatsoever to learn this about him. My question is, what should I do now? If I didn't work for the building, I would probably have stolen back my clothes (but of course if I didn't work for the building I never would have found them). But since this living situation is now a source of income for me I want to be very careful about how I handle it. I'm worried about telling my boss, the owner, because he's also a middle aged man and I'm concerned that Steve will just deny that the clothes are mine and accuse me of using my position to snoop in his private things.

Help?
