He (25M) broke up with me (21F) because I was too much in my phone

I literally wrote two messages, answering a classmate while we were at a restaurant meanwhile he, not even texted his friends but also answered calls while we were eating. He seemed so mad, absent and silent under the entire meal. We had planned to go out shopping after the meal, but after we were done he drove me straight to the train station saying “you should go home now”. I asked him if he didn’t want us to be together a little longer or maybe intimately, and he was like: I think there’s something you’ve misunderstood. He said: you can text your friends in the train. I have told you not to be on your phone. Go home now. And I was like, I don’t want to; but he seemed so mad and serious that I, at last, said fine and went out of his car without saying goodbye. Afterwards he deleted me and have ignored all my messages. In my eyes, this is just an excuse for not really wanting me. What do you think? I’m so sad. Btw this is not the first time he has deleted me out of the blue. Last time it was because he thought I was texting a guy. Afterwards, I saw him accidentally at school and asked him why he had deleted me. We ended up becoming “friends” again. But if it wasn’t for me, he would’ve never talked to me again.

Tl;dr: the guy I was dating broke up with me because he thought I was too much on my phone. I only sent two messages, while he not even texted his friends but also talked with them on the phone. He drove me to the train station telling me to go home after which he deleted me. I’m so sad and don’t know what to think of this situation.

Edit; I found out that the reason he became so mad was because I was texting a guy (a classmate) in front of him. And he didn’t care if it was school related or if he was my friend. He said that he doesn’t like the idea of taking a girl out, paying for everything and making time for her her only to see that she’s texting another guy in front of him. He said that in those cases he just loses interest. And the reason he cut me off like that was because he has told me before that I should stop texting that guy in front of him.
