First time posting, so apologies if I don’t do it right. I (29F) have been dating a guy 27M for about 6 weeks. It’s been pretty full on and we’ve been spending loads of time together (lockdown dating does that to you). Last night I found out he is in an open relationship with another woman who lives about 4 hours away and has been for a few years.
I was completely blindsided and not really sure how open relationships work and if I’m comfortable with it. I’m quite angry that it’s taken this long to find out, especially as we’ve been intimate from the beginning, and are basically in a bubble. This is the first guy I’ve really clicked with in a long time and I’m gutted. I would like to keep seeing him but not sure I can take it.
Is this something anyone else has experienced? What questions do I need to ask? Is it worth trying to make it work or should I nip it in the bud?
