Tl;dr boyfriend following naked women on Instagram, I’m uncomfortable with it and the fact he won’t even follow me.
So at the beginning of our relationship 7 months ago I (24F) was told by my boyfriend (33M) to delete Snapchat because it wasn’t healthy for me. I agreed about it being unhealthy for me and deleted it. Now (7 months later..) I’m confused. I asked him to add me on Instagram. BUT because of his ex recently finding out about me and how we started dating right after they broke up, he says he doesn’t want to add me until “the time is right”. So she won’t be offended/hurt. However 80% of the people he follows on Instagram is filled with pics of half naked women. So why is it so horrible to add me? His girlfriend of 6 months? I feel disrespected and honestly like my feelings of being hurt don’t matter. It feels like he is trying to put her feelings before mine. Am I overreacting? Am I too sensitive. I know it’s not actually “about” Instagram but it brings up important feelings that do matter. Any advice, personal experience would be very helpful.
