My (51F) son (26M) is unemployed and disrespectful. He skips showers, drinks alcohol, disrespects me, terrorizes everyone in the home, and shows me no respect. I have no idea what to do. He currently lives with me because he has no job. He has two college degrees (1 bachelors and 1 masters) and he thinks that grants the right to disrespect me. For over two years he has terrorized my youngest daughter (18F) to the point she needed therapy and has constant mental breakdowns whenever he is near her or brought up around her. I have thought about kicking him out for that very reason because my daughter has been affected so badly to the point she skips meals and doesn't leave her room just so she can avoid being around him. This has significantly impacted my daughter's physical and mental health in a negative way. Anyways, my son is trying to get into medical school but has a failing MCAT score, no volunteer work, no shadowing, and simply no credentials other than a bachelors degree. 4 years post grad and there is nothing to show for it. This is an issue because he does not study for the MCAT nor does he work in order to play for medical school applications nor does he try for clinical work. I have told him before that him not working is only hurting himself because his college debt is just growing everyday. He often does not shower which makes the chairs in our home stink. He constantly drinks alcohol alone in his room and then yells at me nearly everyday. He yells at me over small things and I can not take it anymore. He has called me things such as a dumb immigrant, which I am not because I have been an American citizen longer than he has been alive. I am heartbroken to see the man I birthed treat me worse than a stranger on the street. He has also said to me before " Do ya want a fight? Cause I'll give it to ya." Now who says that to their own parent? I have multiple recordings I have of him yelling and cursing not just me but also my partner and other kids out. Just yesterday I noticed that he had bought melatonin which cost $25. I simply asked him, "Where did you get the money for this?" And he blew up on me. He brought up how he has two degrees when he was yelling at me. What makes no sense is that he constantly drinks coffee at night and talks on the phone to his friends all night. He doesn't even pay for his own phone bill. He pays for nothing. All he does everyday is wake up, eat, yell at me, skip showers, then sit on the couch. So the melatonin makes no sense when he is purposely drinking coffee at night time and then doing nothing all day. I am so lost as a parent and I am not sure what to do. Please help me with advice.
TL;DR - My 26 year old son is super disrespectful and unemployed and is doing nothing to further his life and he is basically a bum. I was thinking of kicking him out because he doesn't even treat me like his mother. What can I do?
