So, Sunday was one of many great holidays, and not one I personally follow or like, I had talked to my partner if she'd like to do anything and her answer was "just to be with you, I've never really had a reason to like it, but please don't get me anything"
Now, looking back on this I should have got her something, anything really but I thought for some reason words would be fine, I told her how much she ment to me and how much she's changed my life for the better. When we split off to go home she gave me a bag.. she mentions her mum bought me it as a joke, it was a valentines mug and I felt crushed almost instantly. Now, we get to my problem and why we are tagged breakup, we went out on Tuesday and spent the best part of 5 hours together talking laughing and having a good time we kissed the night off and she drove back to her home
The next day, she broke up with me, just like that, "I no longer have feelings for you, it started with the mug but we are done" and that was it, no further texts or anything. I'm heartbroken and don't know what I've done wrong to upset her so much
TLDR my partner broke up with me because I didn't get her a valentines gift?
-small update: still no reply and her sister blocked me when i asked if ex is doing alright
