Does anyone feel like people are acting more "cold" during these crazy times? I (27F) feel completely invisible at work these days and like all the joy has been sapped out of people.

I've recently been feeling so unseen and unheard and ignored, mostly at work but also in my friend circles (which are mostly men in their 20s and 30s... all my awesome lady friends live elsewhere now). I guess I'm just wondering if other people have felt this change in behavior during the pandemic and WFH situations or if it's not a widespread thing. I know it's a hard time (I'm struggling some, too), but I really go out of my way to be kind to people, make conversation, be lighthearted, etc. and I just feel like it's totally unappreciated. I didn't feel this way when we were all in-person.

If you have experienced this, what do you do to deal with it? I am not sure how to react when I get one-word answers or no reaction at all to me talking to someone, whether over text or in a work meeting.

TL;DR - wondering if others have noticed a change in people's "warmth" since the pandemic, and how they deal with it.
