So I’ll keep this short, but any advice is appreciated. My husband will routinely stay up until early in the morning playing video games, and then the next day he can’t even get out of bed to help me with the kids (15months and 7weeks). If I approach him about it, he tells me I can’t tell him how to live his life (which I get, and fully agree with.) And he’ll say, I can still help you, you just have to ask, but he’s a literal zombie if I try to get his help anytime before noon, so it’s just not worth it. I’m dying out here single parenting. He also only works 26hours a week, so he has lots of other time for gaming. Help.
TL;DR How do I talk to my husband about needing to sacrifice more of his time to help me, without telling him how to live his life.
