My boyfriend (28M) did not help me clean up and bandage myself (25F) after I had a bad bicycle accident.

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years, we dont live together. I recently had a really bad bicycle accident where I fell off going downhill at 30mph. I was missing skin everywhere and sprained my ankle so bad I could barely walk. I called my boyfriend first and he said I should let him know if I need him to come. I called my sister, who caught a taxi immediately. I called an ambulance who then cancelled on me one hour later with me sitting on the ground in the dark in the middle of nowhere. So I called my boyfriend to come pick me up (my sister cant drive) He picked me up and took me to a pharmacy, bought some bandages etc and just dropped me home. He didnt come up to help me clean up and put bandages on (I had 8 different wounds). Its worth mentioning that he is a med student almost done with med school. It was 12am and he had work the next day.

I thought it was a bit strange but I was in way too much pain to think about it much.

It took me two months to recover (not fully) and in a later conversation he said "You werent really pleasant to deal with which is fair enough but..."

Also during my recovery he never offered to come over to my house (as per the usual) and I was the one going to his house to hang out.

Am I overthinking this? Should he have stepped up more to help me? Do you feel he could have cared more or am I just asking too much?

TL;DR: I had an accident and my boyfriend did not even help me clean my wounds. I really feel he could have cared for me a bit more. Am I asking for too much?
