Is it normal for everyone to be consumed by my (mild) weight gain?

I am a 21F, and I have been the same weight my entire life. For quite some time, I have dealt with negative comments surrounding my appearance. I have been told I am “way too skinny”, asked if i had an eating disorder, been told to go eat a cheeseburger..etc. You get the idea, they are simple comments that can be very hurtful. Over the years, I have learned to accept myself and love my body. The comments people made about my weigh stopped bothering me, up until recently. I have gained around 10 lbs in the past 6 months, and all I have been hearing is back handed compliments. Some of my friends have even went as far to ask me how much weight i’ve gained. I personally believe I finally look healthy after years of being “too skinny”, I just cant believe people have the audacity to say things along the line of “wow, you look like youre getting a bit thick” or “youve gained some weight, havent you?” Its always so unwarranted and unwelcome!! How do I deal with this?

TLDR: I have been the same weight nearly my whole life, and have recently packed on around 10lbs. Everyone has noticed and continues making comments on my weight which makes me extremely uncomfortable, considering I have been “way too skinny” my whole life..people arent okay with me being a normal, healthy weight either.
