My father thinks it's abnormal for me to not be dating at my age (M24). Is he right?

I'm a recent college grad with little money trying to get a job while still living with my parents and not enough money to get a place of my own.

My ideal plan would be to actually have a decent job/career going, a place of my own, and be in better physical condition (a bit chubby atm).

But he doesn't agree with this, or just doesn't want to agree and think it's a good idea. He says that there's plenty of people who are just like me who are in relationships and that I should be a part of it. I think he thinks that if I don't find someone in the next few years, it might be too late. And his stubbornness is becoming more and more apparent.

TL;DR - Father thinks I should be dating despite me not having much to support myself
