My [25M] girlfriend [23F] is unbearably tired and useless at night. How do I approach this?

Every day follows the same routine she wakes up extremely early, wonders why I’m still asleep then falls asleep at like 7 or 8PM on the couch and I have to shake her awake to get her into bed. Sometimes it’s no big deal. Other times it is very frustrating.

Tonight was one of the most frustrating occurrences in a while. I was playing video games and she fell asleep next to me. I finished up, cleaned up the snacks she was eating before she fell asleep and shook her awake. I told her the bed needed to be made because she had done the laundry earlier in the day and none of the sheets were on the bed. She gets up and says “Okay, I really need to pee” and heads up to the bathroom.

I finished getting my bag ready for work in the morning and headed up to the room to find her passed out in our unmade bed. So I shake her and tell her we need to make the bed and she just groans and falls back to sleep. Now I start to wake her even more and she just keeps telling me to leave her alone. Then I go on a bit of a rant about how inconsiderate it is to walk into a bed that has no sheets or pillow covers that we share and pass out in it with no concern about how I will be able to get comfortable.

Then she got angry but in a still half asleep kind of way and stormed into our guest bedroom and passed out in that bed. I’m typing this in my (fully made) bed and I am almost writhing in anger.

It is becoming a common occurrence that nothing will get done after sundown unless I do it. She will say that she needs to relax before doing XYZ and lay down on the couch at 6PM only for that thing to never get done because she will not move from that couch until I wake her from bed.

It’s getting to a point where I am considering making a rule that she can’t sit on the couch until all of our daily tasks are done. (Okay not seriously but if I could I would)

TLDR: Girlfriend is so tired at night time that all tasks get ignored and waking her even to get her from the couch to bed is a monumental chore for me.
