My (M24) girlfriend (F23) has two male coworkers and one female coworker that she’s friends with. They are no longer coworkers because about 6 months ago my girlfriend stated a new job. However, every week my girlfriend goes out to the same bar on the same day with these people. Sometimes specific people can’t come so it’ll just be here and one of the guys etc. last weekend one of the guys was throwing a get together at his house. Drinking and playing games. She said the group was invited and some of the other people she used to work with. When she gets home she says that everyone brought a friend with them. My last partner I met her friends and went out with them occasionally to parties and events etc. so I don’t really know what’s normal. I’ve also taken my girlfriend out with my friends a couple of times so they could hang and meet. Should I meet my girlfriends friends at some point?
TL;DR: Should you meet your partners friends? Is it weird not to have met them at a certain point?
Edit: since most people are curious. We are coming up on 7 years this April. And she’s never invited me to go out with them or meet them. I’m always available to go. (It’s the same time, and day, every week during the week) and the parties are usually on the weekends (I work week days).
