My partner 37m doesn't respond well when I 35F ask for sex.

He doesn't like the directness, I guess. I dont know. Maybe he feels like its too abrupt or too much pressure. It just hurts my feelings cause whenever I ask directly if he wants to have sex it like seems to turn him off. Otherwise he and I have a normal and active sex life.

For me, I'm not alway direct but sometimes I'd like to be. But it never seems to work. Now I feel nervous and then hurt when I ask and my partner doesn't want to. Im just not sure why when I ask, he seems to run the other way, but if it is a more natural process he is usually all in.

Not sure what my question is? Can any one relate?

Tdlr: partner is put off by directness when it comes to sex. Hurt feelings. Can anyone offer insight?
