So basically, I hate it how people say men and women can't be friends, but one thing I'm not sure about is that when I look at my woman friends, I notice that I would hook up with basically every one of them if given the chance, and have done so with a couple of them.
I honestly don't know if when women complain about friends wanting sex from them they just mean guys that literally only get close to them with that in mind and ditch them if they don't, or if I should do some introspection.
Basically, I didn't get close to them with any second intentions, but I find most of my woman friends attractive. Some of them I wouldn't hook up with but it's either because I no longer feel attraction (but have in the past) or I do feel an attraction, but since we know each other and know our relationship patterns, I know it's not a good idea (so, still attracted to them, but chose not to want anytingh for friendship's sake). I've also become friends with girls I had a fling with but didn't work out for whatever reason.
It's never really caused any problems as far as I can tell and sometimes I'll flirt with a friend in a more than just "play flirting" way and nothing comes of it and that's that, and if I notice that they don't like my advances I respect that.
This is mostly for the women on here, but would having a friend that's actually your friend, but is attracted to you and knowing that if you showed sexual interest, he would go for it, make you feel uncomfortable?
TL;DR: Hate it when people say men and women can't be friends and hate it when guys pretend to be friends with a chick just to hook up with them, but I would hook up with just about any of my woman friends and I don't know if that's just as problematic as the things I previously mentioned
