Ideally want replies from those who are currently engaged or married, but anyone can reply. I (M20) have been dating my boyfriend (M23) for over a year. I remember around the 3 month mark I began to realize that I wanted to marry him someday. I feel like he probably thinks about it too, since we've somewhat subtlely both stated things about the looonngg term.
I don't plan on mentioning this outright anytime soon. It's nice having it the way it is now, although I definitely wouldn't mind it coming up. I'm just curious when (or how, feel free to tell stories) you guys mentioned it, or maybe even if you waited until engagement to mention it at all.
P.S: Just because I can see people bringing this up, I know we're young. Don't bother commenting about how I shouldn't be thinking about this at such a young age, or getting my hopes up or something. I know I have a long life to live. That's the point. I want to spend it with him. That can change since anything can happen, but I'm hoping it doesn't.
