Faith in a relationship

Hi! I’m new hear and I’ve read many interfaith relationship posts and I have a question.

My boyfriend is Muslim. He’s been very understanding of my belief in being an atheist. That said, he has been trying to get me to read their holy book for quite some time, despite me being very open that I have in fact read it, and that I won’t convert. He isn’t asking me convert, but it sure seems that way with his actions. I might be over analysing this, but if I’m not, then how do I make him understand in a much more clearer way (even though I think I’ve made it quite clear to him, but obviously it doesn’t work) that I’m not interested in reading the book again so that “maybe I might want to practice it”?

P.S, There are many obstacles in our relationship that I foresee coming our way real soon because of our family that comes from 2 very different faiths (mine is Hindu), but this is more of an issue for me than everything else for now. I’ll definitely come back here for advice when I have the issues that I expect coming our way.

Thanks in advance!

Tldr; My boyfriend has been trying to get me to read about his religion and to “give it a chance” despite me telling him I have read it, and that I am not interested in following suit.
