I [29M] with my [33F] four year, was at a uncomfortable party and I think someone was about to knife me

Hi,

I (29M) has fiancee (33F).

We were at a party at her Mum's house with a few other people.

Fiancee smokes weed daily and has done other drugs; I do not smoke or drink.

Most people at this party were completely off their faces.

Fiancee has been spending more time with a guy who is a mechanic, this guy is a family friend so he was at the party.

This guy was hostile against me the whole night, including:

1. I was trying to make conversation with him, and he said something like "I don't f**** care, mate"
2. I was near him and my fiancee and he told me to "go away to the dance floor"
3. Bags me out because I do not smoke weed or drink alcohol

Everybody excluding me was wasted, my Fiancee and I were about to leave, however Fiancee was either at back of house or in another room.

This guy corners me alone in a room and pulled out what was a some type of knife as it had a sharp side, I was alone and could not call out to get help because large house and music was loud. So being unable to defend myself I ran as fast as I could away from the house down the street and called an Uber.

Fiancee called me up and asked me why I left. When I told her what happened she hung up on me. Fiancee has texted me saying that it was not a knife but a car key as he wanted to give it to me as I was the only sober person at the party.

However it did not look like a key to me, it looked like a tradie knife. Also we were planning on leaving the party, so why would he try and give me his key?

TL;DR: Felt unsafe at party, some guy pointed knife at me; fiancee is defending guy and does not seem to care
