Hey I may be overthinking this but I would like some other perspectives.
Exclusive with this girl for around 2 months now. I was texting her a little bit today scheduling a date and then randomly found out that she had a stress breakdown from work. I asked her if she was okay and she told me she was doing a lot better now. She then made a joke, and said she had made cookies and was a lot better now. I responded with haha glad you're doing better. But then decided to throw in a little joke and said, "tough cookies never crumble, am I right? ;)"
I'm extremely bad at helping girls when they are venting and don't know if I said something I should have or should not have joked around at all. What do you guys think?
tl;dr: Did I say something I shouldn't have to a girl who told me her problem?
