Hello, I am 25 and my girlfriend is 40. She has 2 kids and we have been dating for 4 years. She is separated but not divorced.
We met on tinder (21 and 36 then) when we moved to the same state around the same time (from different places). We clicked and she lived super close by, so it was very easy being with her. I don't have any friends and she has always loved me so much. It was very easy to be with her.
4 years later I have progressed in my career but she still works a minimum wage job and relies on her family and govt to live her life. I want to help and have tried but I feel like she's not willing to put any effort in making a better life.
Aside from the social stigma and her having two kids it doesn't help that she doesn't bring anything to the table except being loving. I want to break up with her and I don't know how to do that. Advice?
TL/DR: I'm 25 dating a 40 yo woman with no drive and two kids. How do I tell her I want to break up?
