My(25M) relationship with my wife(25F) has been all over the place here lately. I know I'm not a great communicator and have a temper at times. My wife also is not a great communicator and has a temper at times too. At least once a month we get into a ugly fight to the point where one of us threatens divorce over her not holding a job.she can't hold a job for a year and always quits out of laziness. It's very unhealthy and I can tell when the fight days are by my wife's mood. I have tried to get her to talk it out on the days I can tell it's going to be a fight instead but it does not work despite my best efforts. We have been together three years. She wants kids and I'm hesitant seeing our fighting as it's not healthy and don't want any kids to have to live with that. So I have made an effort to not yell when fighting. Me and my wife have agreed that our roles are we both work to get a house then see about the family part. After my first month married to her she punched me and I said that was a no no and if that happened again I was out. She said she was sorry and didn't do it again. I thought it was growth until three months ago we got into a nasty fight and she punched me again. Now Im seriously reconsidering if I should stay as she currently has no job and is now expecting me to buy a house soon and have these kids with her...
TLDR:My wife wants kids soon and I see we have serious problems in our relationship that need fixing before we have kids.
