TL;DR: My wife walked out on me and my son. I don’t know what to do.
Me and my wife have had a rocky relationship for a couple months now. We’ve been getting in arguments a lot and started to go to counseling for it. This morning, i woke to find her gone. I checked my phone and saw a lengthy text on how she couldn’t be on this relationship anymore and wanted to start fresh. She told me that she was never even ready to have a child either. Even though we’ve been having problems, I still loved her. I tried to convince her to come back, and that things will get better, but she refused.
My son (13) and I have been pretty emotional all today. He broke down crying a few times, begging me not to leave him. He’s currently sleeping next to me. I don’t know what to do at all. I need to be brave for him, but I just can’t.
