I’m [27F] and I don’t know if I’m over-reacting. Should I be mad? I know I’m kinda hurt. Why is it an important day to me and not him? I went all out for him today. I know it’s not about the gifts, but I wanted to do something nice so I got him a pair of Ray-ban Aviators ($220.00), some roses, his favorite candy, and a card with a heartfelt note. And then I went to pick up dinner from Carrabbas. I tried to make it special for him and he forgot. Tried to lie and say he had a plan for tomorrow. I know it’s bs and he just said it cause he felt like crap. So while I cried over my dinner, he went on the couch and fell asleep. No apology, nothing.
TL;dr: Husband forgot anniversary again, do I have reason to be mad? I tried to make it special for him.
