my bf (now ex) has been putting no effort into our relationship lately, he blew off dates, ignored my calls, texts and when I pleaded with him to please put more effort in repeatedly, he said I can find someone better, thinks we should take a step back and be friends again (we were never friends, we met and started dating straight away so not sure what he means). He gave up easily. I wanted to fight for us, but he didn't so I respected his decision, walked away and left him alone.
We broke up a day ago, I needed space, so I've cut all contact and tried to move on. Today he's tried calling me, texting me asking what my plans are, how my life is, random updates of his day (he never bothered with this), snapchatted me repeatedly, liked all my photos on instagram and tried messaging me on there too!? Not sure what's going on, none of my friends blow up my phone like that, he never did when we were together anyway? Why the sudden interest now I'm gone :/ he broke my heart so I've continued ignoring all communication.
tl;dr - bf dumped me, wants to stay 'friends' although we were never friends. Day after no contact he's blowing up my phone using every means of communication possible, what's going on?
