Friendship: A group of us are going to Vegas this year. I don't want to do giant pool parties and I'm being blamed for ruining the trip. 30M

TL;DR: The group wants to do pool parties, I don't. I'm being told Im ruining the trip.

A group of 5 of us decide to go to Las Vegas this year. We have planned a great amount of things to get away from the day to day grind of professionalism and work and family responsibilities. As a group we have pushed and pulled on may things. For example, Im the only non vegan in the group so Ive made compromises on restaurants I really want to go to in order to make the rest of the party comfortable with dinner. I agreed upon their hotel choice vs a cheaper hotel choice and agreed upon their city flight location which puts me traveling long hours prior and after departure of flight.

One thing the group is obsessed with is pool parties. Not just the "lets hang by the pool" no they want the "Lets hange by the pool under 5 umbrellas crammed next to a lot of people paying extra for drinks and a crammed pool with loud music loud everything and people who are fresh out of college" Kind of pool party.

Im going to Vegas to relax and unwind and this isnt my idea of it. On top of that Im having to pay almost $170 for tickets because Im a guy vs the females in our group who pay half of that about $60. We have a hotel pool. Its included in our hotel price. I dont understand the rush to go to a pool party filled with teenagers. On top of that Im gay, its a pretty straight pool party made to fill with women. Like its not for me for fun or relaxation at all.

I mentioned this to the group and they are all unhappy. I told them they could go but I just wont be joining them and explained to them the ticket price and Id rather spend that at a spa or leaving the city and going on a hiking tour or canyon water tour or something spent in nature father than a pool.

The back lash was not good. Im ruining the trip. The trip was for the pool party. No one wants to go see rocks and dust. It was really dumb idea to leave the group on pool party day. I explained that I was not preventing them from going rather I just didnt have the interest to go and wouldn't want to be there bumming them out and id rather my money go to something I enjoy and just wanted to be straight up with them.

Two days later and now they are making plans to add more pool party days in order to have me go with them. I called them out on it and reminded them Vegas was the back up trip from the Cancun trip they didnt want to take because there was "nothing to do there except go to the beach"

I'm starting to wonder if I should even go given how negative they are being about everything and have not taken my perspective into account. I dont know? I'm just looking to other ways to handle the situation.
