Is it normal for a husband to lock their wife inside of the house when they run errands?

I, (30F) have been married to husband (31F) for around 10 months. We don’t have automatic locks in our house, we have to manually lock it via a lock and key from the outside.

Yesterday my husband said he had an errand to run and said he will be back in 10 mins. He proceeded to lock the main door with a lock and key. I asked him not to do that and that I’ll lock him from the inside, he said don’t worry I will be back in 10 mins and he went ahead with that anyway.

When he didn’t return for two plus hours. A friend of mine came and broke the lock. I was so angry and irritated that I went back to my friends place with her after catching something to eat. (My husband knew I was hungry and that I had run out of groceries for the week) I planned to stay the night there but around 12 am he started calling me frantically, asking me where I was and all. I said I’ll come home tomorrow. He ended up driving to my friends house at 2:30 am in the night.

I went back with him. We didn’t speak to each other. And when I woke up, he said, ‘Don’t do it again.’ And left for work.

This is not normal, right? Am I overreacting if I want to pack my bags and leave right now? This feels like abuse.

I just want to run away.

TL;DR Husband locked me inside the house for hours and when I broke out with the help of a friend, is acting like I was the culprit. What should I do?
