My husband and I have been married for 5 years, together for 6. Every now and then his ex fiancee comes up. He was with her for a couple of years. Based on what he’s told me the relationship was full of ups and downs but they stayed friends for some time after the final breakup. How he talks about her, I can hear in his voice how much he still cares about her and how much they loved each other. He’s told me he has no ill feelings towards her and hopes she’s doing well.
And now, based on everything i’ve seen in my life, i think i should feel jealous or at least indifferent about this. But I love him dearly and it makes me happy, hearing him reminisce about the good times and the positive experiences he’s had. He doesn’t talk about her much because "he doesn’t wanna make me feel weird" but to me it’s comparable to talking about happy memories of him and his friends and I love listening to him.
TLDR: I don’t get jealous of my husband’s ex, and i was wondering if anyone else felt this way?
