Im quite a forgetful and clumsy person, and occasionally suffer from periods of mild dissociation due to anxiety. It really messes with me so I’m very intent on keeping lists of things to make sure I can always refer to them and keep track.
One thing that frustrates me is when I forget things about the people I love. Yesterday my bf told me his absolute favourite song, and this morning I can’t remember it.
I stumbled on a post last night on someone who noticed that their SO kept notes on them, like their favourite colour and things. I and OP thought it was really practical and cute and I want to do it as well. The list so far is just: • stuff we’ve said we wanted to do together • his fast food orders (in case he’s drunk or ill or needs a lil cheering up) • likes (ie graphic tees, sushi) • hates (ie a certain smell) • and other (ie mannerisms if he’s upset or uncomfortable)
But on the other hand I’m worried if it’ll come off as obsessed or creepy to him, and if it’s necessary to tell him about it. I just want to know other’s opinions on this.
Tl;dr: I’m very forgetful so I want to take down notes on my bf to make sure I can remember them better and be a better gf.
