I didn't intend on picking him up because the airport has a train that stops literally outside his apartment. It's about a 15 minute train ride from the airport to his apartment. In fact, I didn't drop him at the airport this time because he said he lived so close to the airport it wouldn't make sense.
I live about 1.5 hours from the airport by car.
Would I have been an asshole if I suggested that he take the train home, and we hang out later in the day?
TL;DR -- Should I travel kinda far to pick my boyfriend up from the airport even though he lives right next to it?
