I [25F] moved overseas and miss my sister [14F] above everyone else. But she rarely contacts me. Is there anything I can do?

I moved 6 months ago to work for my company on a different country. The way it seems, I'll be here for a long time, maybe even permanently, or maybe I'll move elsewhere. I don't know yet.

I kind of made my peace a little easier with being away from my parents, but it's been really hard to be away from my sister.

I frequently contact my parents, but my sister rarely contacts me on her own, and doesn't really reply too much to my texts or keeps me up to date about her life. I hear things from mom and dad but she herself doesn't really have much initiative to stay in touch with me.

She's not mad at me or anything, but she doesn't seem all that active in texting apps and doesn't seem to care much about them. What she used to delve into the most when I was there was play soccer and use Discord servers for sharing memes with friends.

Sometimes I send her I love yous and such asking her little things about her life, but she gives me things like "K" and quick answers.

So, I don't know. Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal of her? Is there anything I can to stay more in touch with her?

tl;dr: Sister doesn't give me much attention since I moved out of the country and I miss her the most out of everyone else. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to have her open up a little bit more?
