Okay so a bit of background on my current situation, my parents were together until about 2 years ago when my mom caught my dad cheating, my mom has always been bat shit insane which is probably what made my dad cheat in the first place. But basically my mom went berserk and started doing crazy amounts of drugs and really scaring my sister (15F) and me. She was unstable enough that my dad (49M) managed to gain full custody of me and my sister and kicked my mom out of the house, which made her go even more insane, she would call me all the time and tell me how I’m an awful son and I don’t care about her and she’s make me feel really shitty about myself cause I started to believe her, it was true that I never talked to her cause she was always so unstable. Fast forward to now, she’s gotten a lot better and finally has a job and is living in her own apartment, I can finally bare to be around her for little amounts of time although once in awhile she’ll have another episode. I recently got back from college and came home, I was super excited to just veg out and play some rockband so I went in my garage and pulled out my old wii and guitar. The next day I decided to go see my girlfriend, my dad told me my mom was coming to his house to pick up some of her belongings and I didn’t really think much of it until I came home and found out she had taken MY fucking tv, and MY fucking wii, the best thing is that she didn’t take ANY of the games or ANY of the controllers. It made me fucking infuriated that my dad even let her do that because he knows damn well that those are my property, but he’s too intimidated by her to even do anything. So now she has my fucking tv that I just bought and I know taking it from her is going to be a big fucking task because she’s the most stubborn woman in the world, and I know the only reason she took those things is so that I’ll come spend time at her house more often which I hate doing cause all she does is make me feel shitty and treat me like I’m still 11 years old, I even get uncomfortable when she touches me. What the fuck do I do?
TDLR: came home from college to my dads house and busted out my old wii to play rockband, left the house for a day and my mom came to my dads house and stole my wii, tv and took no controllers or games. I know she’s only doing this so I’ll spend more time at her house and my dads too intimidated to say anything to her cause she’s so unstable. How the fuck do I handle this situation? It’s infuriating
