I'm certain my neighbor is a victim of domestic violence.
I base this on two things:
-They are always arguing
-She has bruises on her body
One night she came banging at my door. I let her in and she had a big cut down her leg. She used my phone and called her mom to pick her up. She waited at my house and her husband came over and starting banging and demanding I open the door. I did not. I asked her if she wanted me to call the police, she said no. Her mom came and they left. She was back over there after a week or so. They were quiet for a little while but then the arguing started again. She's wearing very heavy makeup now and shades. I assume she's trying to hide bruises on her face.
A lot of people have told me to mind my own business but I feel I should do something. Would it be wrong of me to call the cops? Or at least direct her to some support groups?
TL;DR: My neighbor is in an abusive relationship and I want to help her but not sure how.
