I (27F) have been dating my boyfriend (27M) for about two years now. Need help understanding something my boyfriend said the other day. I was dropping off his food for him at work and I told him that my mom asked me where I was going before I left. He said you should have told her that you were dropping food off for your husband. I paused for a moment thinking he didn't mean to say it and waited for him to correct himself but he didn't. He just looked at me and paused too and so I laughed a little cause I was nervous but I actually kind of liked the sound of him calling himself my husband. Only thing is I'm not sure if he meant what he said or if he was just messing around or something.
Tldr; boyfriend called himself my husband the other day. Not sure how to take it.
