My[26 M] girlfriend of 6 months [24 F] admitted to sleeping with her fuck buddy a week before we were exclusive. She lied about it.

My girlfriend had a fuck buddy before me. No big deal I don't care about it. But I asked her previously when the last time she slept with this guy was. She said 2 months before we got together.

Today she admitted that she had lied about it in order to stop me from feeling bad about it and had slept with him on her birthday a week before we were exclusive. She talked to this guy about me after they fucked saying she was going to get serious with me and that they should stop.

She has only messaged this guy once while with me and I told her I was uncomfortable and she stopped and said she would cut contact.

I'm now seriously hurt. While I think her sleeping with him as we were talking is in bad taste I'm more irritated she lied to me. I lied to her too as she says but it was in the first month and about some of my feelings about the relationship. Am I overreacting or am I right to feel hurt?

TLDR Girlfriend slept with fuck buddy the week before we were exclusive and lied about it.
