I (28f) want to buy my husband (27m) a switch. So my husband is dope. He's a great dad, my best bud, he cleans, he tells me how much he appreciates me, always goes on about how we are a team and will make it through together. It's been a good seven yrs of marriage.
It's his third Father's day, kid number 2 is now one. I'm out of the fog a bit. But we are both shattered. He's always tired and gaming is his wind down.
I wanna buy him a switch and breath of the wild for Father's day. He would be totally taken by surprise. He's talked about it a bit. On and off since they came out. Even mentioned how I would love the switch when it was my birthday last year. I don't game but hey I get it he wanted it lol.
I am a stay at home mum, he earns decent money so it's worth me being at home. But we talk about financial decisions and would never make a purchase this big without talking about it normally. Like he asked if I was cool with him buying a new Xbox controller (PC gamer).
So I guess thoughts? To splurge as a thank you your awesome or is that too much of a breach if trust?
TL:DR I want to buy a switch for my husband but we would normally talk about a purchase that big but it ruins the surprise. Is it too serious a breach of trust?
