Coworker (20s F) constantly brags about her affair and it's making me (20s F) extremely uncomfortable.
I work in a specific retail environment where each worker has their own appointments with clients. I don't ever have time to really talk or get to know my coworkers because we are all constantly busy and only really see each other when we are preparing for appointments, which is only a minute or two each day.
There is a certain coworker who always mentions an extremely personal issue every time I see her and it makes me VERY uncomfortable.
She got a new boyfriend, and he is still married and his wife is pregnant with their second child. She is always complaining about the wife, and how much she and her boyfriend can't wait for them to get a divorce. The whole situation really creeps me out, especially knowing that this guy is twice her age.
She also told me that she's planning her wedding, and went as fair as trying on wedding dresses. She talks about him constantly. She also openly slanders his pregnant wife. I literally know nothing else about this girl except that she's a homewrecker, and a proud one at that.
I think her smugness and prideful attitude towards the whole thing is disgusting. Every time I see her, she brings it up. I stopped saying good morning to her and she still brings it up.
Not really sure what to do. I feel that if I told her that talking about that makes me uncomfortable, she would take offense and the work environment would be even more uncomfortable.
Tl;dr Coworker flaunts that she's having an affair with a married man. I feel very uncomfortable and she brings it up every time I see her, even when I don't initiate conversation.
