My Gf (f35) of 4 months and I (M36) were planning to spend Christmas Eve together; her parents have decided to visit her for the holidays and now I am uninvited.

Both of our families live in our respective home countries. As Christmas drew near, we figured it is too expensive and troublesome (covid wise) to go away for just a week, so we were excited to spend Christmas together. Even though she has a big friend group (theyre all awesome), she had said all she wanted was to do was to spend it with me (we have a strong connection, like a rare one to find in life).

She did warn her parents planned on visiting for Christmas, so I was prepared and excited about meeting them, and also spending Christmas in a family setting, albeit not my own, but still with this girl i really like (we do like each other so much) and her parents.

I was also ready to give them their family time and not intrude for the short week they were here, but I thought at least Christmas Eve we would exchange some gifts and have a nice meal.

Today she tells me they bought their tickets.. and that Christmas Eve it's gonna be just them. She apologized, "they're like that".

Im just at a loss.. i mean, my family would NEVER do this, as to exclude someone from Christmas (especially if they knew their kid's bf/gf would spend it alone). So that is a red flag. I give them the benefit of the doubt of maybe they want to meet me first, and then invite me.. which is understandable.

But what hurts me is that it doesn't sound like she put up a fight to include me.. she is 35 and hosting them in her small apartment. If i were her i would respectfully tell my parents id want this important person here for this important day.

Spending Christmas far away from family is hard enough.. but to be excluded from Christmas eve sucks.

What would you do?

TL;DR! Gf (F35) and I (M36) had plans on spending Christmas together, her parents decided to come and now I am uninvited from Christmas Eve altogether and will spend it on my own..
