We've been together over 3 years and it's been my most healthy relationship I've ever been in, with a few exceptions. Whenever we fight, even if it's over something stupid, if he gets really angry he'll shout at me, call me bitch, twat or just shouts 'fuck off!' or throws something - he once chucked my tv remote at the wall and the batteries fell out. I've asked him not to call me names but he just gets mad and swears more. I've told him it hurts my feelings and when he gets angry it's scary but it's like he doesn't care when i get upset. When i brought up how i dont like when he throws things he acted like i was being silly and said something along the lines of "if i threw a pencil would you be scared over that too?". I don't know what to do, he was never like this but ever since we've moved in together it's happened more. He knows i have issues with my dad because of his anger, it's like he doesn't get that he's acting similar to my dad used to even though I've pointed it out.
Is there anything i can do?
TLDR: When my boyfriend and i fight he shouts swears and calls me a bitch/ twat etc and sometimes throws something at the wall despite me asking him not to as it hurts my feelings.
