TL;DR!- My boyfriend (26) and myself (23) have been dating for almost 2 years and had a talking stage for almost 1 year. During our taking stage he was also speaking to another female(25), going on dates with her, hanging with her friends, travelling with her & her friends. Then they decided to remain friends. I was unaware he was talking to us both at the time, but ultimately we started officially dating and I found out and forgave him/ moved forward.
I strongly dislike his friendship with her. He still talks to her, hangs out with her & her friends. He doesn’t even hang with my friends… I’ve tried to be very accepting but It makes me very uncomfortable how he’s still friends with someone he had somewhat of a history with. I don’t have ANY male friends whom I had any history with. I never met her, nor do I want to. Do you think it’s valid of me to be unaccepting / weirded out of this friendship? I’m trying to be open minded but he has SO many female friends already. Why is she so important to maintain their friendship?
