TL;DR: My boyfriend cancelled on me because of work but decided to hang out with his friend instead and blocked me when I confronted him.
My boyfriend (26M) and I (24F) have been together for 3 years and I cannot believe what he did on Friday.
We planned on getting take out for dinner and I asked him if he would like to go for a walk or to a bar afterwards, as we haven’t seen each other this week very often due to schedules. He agreed and we got our take out that we ate in the car.
After we finished eating I asked him where he would like to go and he said that he had to work the next day (which is true) and that he thinks he should rather go home now. I was disappointed, but he said that we would see each other more often the following week. So we both went home, I asked some of my friends to hang out but all of them already had plans.
An hour later I asked him what he was doing and he said that he was hanging out with his friend - after he just told me he couldn’t hang out because he had to wake up early. I was shook because of the disrespect and tried to call him but he didn’t pick up. Bad enough that I had to explain why I was fucking angry and disappointed, but on top of it he told me to leave him alone and FUCKING BLOCKED ME!!!!!
We haven’t seen or heard from each other since this happened and I honestly cannot believe it. I don’t know why he acts like this. And no, the reason is not another woman. I know that with certainty.
